Talisman 4.5
Hooray! Information on the latest release of Talisman. The folks over at ICv2 have posted up some information for us.
Fantasy Flight Games has announced an October release for the Revised 4th Edition of the Talisman Board Game (MSRP $49.95). 2008 marks the 25th anniversary of this fan favorite magical quest board game and FFG’s revised version adds 14 highly detailed plastic figures (toads included), a revision of the rules, and upgraded components all around. Upon the launch of the Revised 4th Edition, FFG will also make available an upgrade kit, which will include the new plastic figures, revised rules and cards, for those who purchased Games Workshop’s 4th Edition of Talisman, which was released in October of 2007.
The 4th Edition of Talisman was based primarily on the 2nd Edition of the game, which was considered more popular with gamers than the 3rd Edition. It remains to be seen where Fantasy Flight, which has loads of experience creating board games, will take Talisman, which it acquired earlier this year along with the rights to Games Workshop’s RPGs and card games (see “FFG Gets Games Workshop’s RPGs, Card and Board Games”).
FFG has also announced that “a plethora of expansions” for Talisman are in the works. The first of these, the Death and Glory Expansion (MSRP $19.95) is slated for release by Christmas 2008.
Also, here is a picture of the new box with some blue haired guy from FFG.

Sony Ericsson’s XPERIA X1
Seriously… WOW! iPhone killer for me, this thing is sexy and functional. It also seems to blow the iPhone specs out of the water, except for storage space. In that regards it at least gives you the option of exactly how much space you want by giving you a microSD card slot, allowing you to have up to 8GB and soon to be 16GB of storage. Specifications from the article at Engadget, follow this link for images of this beauty and this link for a video.

MacWorld 2008
Seriously Apple, go suck a dick. Your current iPhone is shit, you’re just hammering it on with “new” features like sending SMS’s to multiple people, seriously?!? Welcome to 1999. As annoying as it is, I can’t wait for the day that you fuck over all the people that have bought your damn 2G iPhone with a 3G Version, while ending support for the 2G. It’s the only way we’ll ever see that iPhone in Australia, becuase like the rest of the world — besides America of course — we have the latest Phone technology which would make a vastly superior iPhone.
MacBook Air? Okay cool but, whatever. It costs more than a MacBook and has worse specs. 65GB SolidState Drive, not for that price you insane mofo’s. Bah, I can’t be bothered… I just want my 3G iPhone…
